what are we doing? we're just sitting here, sitting back
trying to delay the dawn
it's hard to think that people you spent so much time with you might never get to see again
but you need to move on, keep surfing,
you can't hold onto men forever
when we eat the pills
we sit in time
and hold the moments precious.
we know they're gone, the moment's gone
everything that will ever happen will and then it will pass
if it hasn't gone already
we just sit back,
sit and observe
we watch them get or miss the gifts we feel they deserve
in the end we're all just tied to time
we spent the best of our lives
on the assembly line
you can't hold on to love forever
so when we eat the pills
the thrills, the spills
whatever.
we're all just watching,
all we ever did, were watching.
just wish to bleed it to a point,
to stop the clock,
to put my own ship
inside dawn's dry dock.
i am the boy to take the clock
and use its hands to pick the lock apart
to bring out these thoughts and heard the flock
towards the omniscient statue
made of universe rock
